The best way to solve a problem is to figure out what is causing it first.
I’ve worked with over 10,000 women to help them lose fat and keep it off.
These are the 4 key reasons they were stuck before…
1) Perfectionism - also known as all or nothing thinking. Typically you’re either ‘on it’ and really ‘good’ or completely off it and at that other extreme. This often looks like putting in a tonne of effort periodically & never getting anywhere.
2) Over restriction - cutting out food groups, dropping calories too low, fasting, avoiding social eating etc. SOME restriction is need to lose fat, too much & you’ll resent it and find it impossible to stick to.
3) Endpoint mentality around dieting - assuming at the end of your diet you can just go back to the way you were living before. If you do, all that will happen is you will revert back to body you had pre diet. Your constant behaviours determine your body composition.
Or waiting for this ‘goal weight’ where you will finally be happy, confident and your whole life will be perfect. Trust me, you’ll get there & it won’t be so take the pressure off.
4) Unrealistic expectations - most people assume fat loss will e and should be faster than in reality it is. This causes them to over restrict or give-up because they think the sensible approach doesn’t work.
