A few questions that may call you out…
Is a lack of planning actually a fear to set the parameters to fail?
Are you avoiding setting tangible goals because then it will become apparent if you don’t meet them?
Do you avoid commitment because if you never fully commit, you can never fully fail?
Why are you afraid of failing?
This one is the most interesting. You will usually have to keep asking yourself ‘why’ 3-4x to get to the real answer.
Usually when you delve into it you’re scared of how it will make you feel. You’re scared of your own emotions.
Solution: Get more afraid of regret than failure and you will drive yourself into action.
