If I wanted to lose weight as quickly as possible here is what I would do:
1) Create a sensible calorie deficit. I always use range targets. For me this would be 1500-1700. I would stay within that range consistently (yes, even on weekend).
2) I would consume minimum 80g protein with an aim of 110g protein daily
3) I would prioritise whole foods & minimise ultra processed foods.
4) I would bulk my meals out with food I can eat more of i.e. high volume foods like fruit and veg.
5) I would acknowledge that quick fixes aren’t quick. The right way is the quick way.
Doing it right once is quicker, easier and more enjoyable than yo-yoing between extremes
6) Continue to live my life while creating a moderate deficit & losing fat.
One of the best pieces of advice I can give to anyone who wants to lose fat is to stop over thinking it & get on with living your life.
It will take time whether you obsess over it or not.
