Perfectionism was holding me back,
it is more than likely holding you back too.
It holds you back in all areas of life:
You don’t start the business because you don’t have the perfect plan,
You don’t sign up for coaching because it’s not the perfect time (doesn’t exist),
You give up on your diet because you had one meal that put you over your calories,
You don’t have time for a full workout so instead you do nothing,
You know you won’t hit 10,000 steps so you don’t bother going for a walk,
You couldn’t stick to the plan perfectly so you used it as an excuse to give up.
Almost everyone I work with starts with this mindset to some degree or another.
The good news is…it’s changeable - you’re not just ‘the kind of person who needs things to be perfect’ as many people identify.
If you notice that’s not serving you then you can decide to change.
Is it easy? No.
Is it worth it? Yes.
You’ll be more successful, get better results, experience less anxiety and have more fun.
Letting go of perfectionism & embracing imperfect action forces you to work harder, you’ve taken away you’re excuse to give up - there is always something you CAN do - and it gets quite fun looking for it.
Try it!
