Will you get optimal results? No.
I am not the strongest, fittest or most muscular but I do stay in shape year round while running 5 businesses and having a social life (the last one is debatable but I do have a girl friend who I keep happy most of the time).
The most common excuse people give for not exercising consistently is lack of time.
so here is the solution:
3 short, sharp & effective workouts per week.
Total time commitment = 1 hour.
Workout 1:
DB Shoulder press
DB Goblet Squat
Single arm DB row
DB RDL
3-4x10-12 reps
Workout 2:
DB Chest press
Lat pull
DB Split squats
Farmers carry (45-60 sec)
3-4x10-12 reps
Workout 3:
Dips (add weight if needed)
DB Walking lunges
Chin ups (add weight if needed)
Barbel hip thrusts
3-4x10-12
These workouts take 15-20 minutes and will give you the biggest bang for your buck.
All workouts should be completed as giant sets (like a circuit) with 1-3mins between rounds.
