I mean this in numerous ways - try getting up 10mins earlier so you’re not always rushing.
Give yourself time in your week for perspective - it might just be 30mins.
Check in with whether the way you are spending your time and energy aligns with your values and the life you want to live - if not, what needs to change?
Stop reaching for your phone when you are bored, scrolling instagram before bed and always being contactable. Look up from your phone and enjoy the simple things.
& remember..
Whenever you feel low…it’s usually a sign you are overthinking.
The solution is to be more present..
For me thats brain dumping what is stressing me on paper and deciding what I am going to do about it and sometimes it’s nothing. In fact, most of the time the solution is to do nothing, at least for now, and that is freeing in itself.
Writing allows you to see things for what they are, which is almost always not as bad as you have been convincing yourself of.
My phone died 3 days ago and I take time to buy one. So...lot of changes in a daily habits in 3 days. Have more time to think, to listen and to actually find out what is on my mind. I also see already patterns which are not aligned with my goals. And I see the lost minutes and hours, which I spend on my phone, and which I could maybe use to get my (mental...?) energy back.
This is such a relevant post for me right now, as I try to be more present, and less in my head.
I’m curious if you have a structured approach for journaling / writing down your thoughts. A certain time of day or as thoughts arise? Free flowing or a certain structure to what you write?
Can you tell I’m an over thinker? 🫢
