Reframing will change your life.. and I am not talking about the big things like trying to find positives in open heart surgery or cancer diagnosis.. I am talking about the little every day things…
Example:
You got up 10mins late & you missed the train.
You’re going to be late. - you can’t change that part.
Now you can decide if you’re going to be late, stressed & in a bad mood or you’re just going to be late.
You can’t always control what happens to you but you can get better at controlling your emotional response and how you show up as a result of it.
This is the part that will improve your life.
You can let missing your train ruin your whole day. Or, you can make missing the train mean you had a little more time to finish listening to that podcast.
