What people don’t understand is that when you exercise consistently you have MORE energy, more capacity for life, you are FITTER.
Fitness, at its core, is your ability to meet the physical and mental demands of life. Without feeling totally burnt out..with energy, strength, and resilience left in the tank.
It’s not about how much you can lift, how fast you can run, or how lean you look. It’s much more important than that.. it is:
Having the energy to live a full life & enjoy it .. not just survive each day
Having the endurance to finish a workout, and just as important, a hard day at work & home without crashing
Having the mobility to get up off the floor with ease
Having the mental discipline to keep going when it’s easier to quit
Having the strength to carry your shopping, your kids/grandkids and not have to miss out.
Fitness is (at least to me) about capacity for life not how fast you can complete a hyrox (although that is very impressive!)
Fitness is freedom.
It’s the foundation for doing more, living more, and backing yourself in every area of life.
It builds confidence, resilience, health, lifespan, libido .. I could go on.
